28.06.2010 Nominees of the Golden Soffit Award
 

The Expert Council of the Golden Soffit, the top St. Petersburg Theater Award, shortlisted nominees of the Award by the results of the 2009/2010 season. M. Durnenkov’s “Izotov” and W. Shakespeare’s “Hamlet” were named among the best performances on the Big Stage. Andrey Moguchy and Valery Fokin, directors of these two performances, were also nominated for “The Best Director’s Job;” Alexander Shishkin and Alexander Borovsky, scene-designers of the performances, were included in the list of “The Best Artist’s Job.” Semyon Sytnik was announced for “The Best Male Role” for the part of Professor Serebryakov in A. Chekhov’s “Uncle Vanya,” and Sergey Parshin was nominated for the secondary role of Cabman Nikolay in “Izotov.”

The Award Ceremony is traditionally scheduled for October, when the Jury will have seen all the performances announced by the Expert Council and name the winners.
